Stand out!

Wedding Invitation Every bride wants her invitation to stand out from the rest of the other invites guests will be receiving. And Rexcraft brides are in luck because there are some great, affordable ways to add special flair to their invitations without breaking the bank!

Let's start from the outside in, and think about how your guests will perceive your invitation as they receive and open it.

  1. First comes the outer envelope. I recommend having the outer envelopes printed with your return address. You can also save time & hassle by letting us address your invitations envelopes with guests names & addresses!  Everything can be printed in the same ink color and lettering style as you invitations and not only will it look professional and beautiful, it will be a sneak peek at what your wedding wording will look like! And don't forget to add a pretty seal to the outer envelope to catch guests' eyes and to create a perfect finishing touch.
  2. Then imagine your guests opening the inner envelope to discover that it's lined in a beautiful color! This will continue to set the stage for your wedding and a further hint about your wedding colors and style.
  3. And then the invitation. For just a few cents per invitation, you can have your wording printed in a beautiful ink color that matches your wedding colors. It's a great, affordable way to make a splash that's sure to be remembered! You can also have your wording printed in a unique format FREE (with or without a design at the top or bottom, left justified, creatively laid out, etc.) to make it a pleasure to read.

See? It's easy to create a stand-out invitation!

Adding a pop of color to your wedding day!

So, you've been dreaming of a classic, elegant wedding? The timeless invitations…the subdued color scheme of white, ecru, silver or gold…the beautiful, tone-on-tone flowers…all the details are coming together!

But remember — even the most classic, elegant weddings can benefit from a "pop" of color! Adding color to your day, whether a tiny touch or a bold splash, will make your wedding even more memorable and will tie your entire event together.

Here are some of my favorite ways to add color to a wedding.

RQSatinRibbon[1] Invitations:

Have your invitations printed in colorful ink, or go for silver or gold for sparkle

• Choose colorful lined inner envelopes to set a classic, yet colorful, tone for your wedding as soon as guests receive your invitations

• Your invitation may be classic and printed in timeless black ink — but imagine the impact of a colorful ribbon surrounding it

Ceremony:

• Add a colorful personal touch to your ceremony with a unity candle personalized in a pretty color

• Choose a ring pillow embroidered in a thread color that matches your bridesmaids' dresses

• Have your flower girl scatter colorful, silk rose petals on the aisle

• Invite guests to sign a colorful guest book

• If your color scheme and bridesmaids' attire is subdued, add a punch of color to their bouquets with colorful flowers, and accent pew bows with colorful blooms, tooSilk rose petals

Reception:

Make a statement with colorful table number cards

• Choose personalized napkins in a color that will brighten your tables

• Go colorful with your favors — matchbooks favor boxes printed in a bright color and tied with ribbonetc.

• Place colorful treats inside clear favor boxes and heart-shaped favor tins with clear lids

• Make your cake the centerpiece of your event by accenting it with colorful flowers or go totally bold and have it frosted in a bright color

Last-minute tip: Order our colorful ribbon on 25-yard rolls for decorating EVERYTHING — invitations, programs, favors, bouquets, corsages, floral arrangements, pews, chairs, menu cards, place cards and much more!

Tip: Photo Wedding Invitations

Photo Wedding Invitation Are you looking for an extra personal way to invite guests to your wedding? One that will grab their attention and leave them in high anticipation of your event?

Then I highly recommend sending a photo invitation! Photo invitations are a great way to show your personality and let guests get a sneak peek at your wedding style.

There are so many styles of photo invitations to choose from — invitation cards, folders, layered invitations, ones with sheer layers printed with your wording, even styles that let you print up to four photos!

And remember, you don't have to use a photo of yourselves or an engagement portrait on your photo wedding invitations.

Be creative! You can print a photo of…

• the place you got engaged or your favorite vacation site

• something sets the mood for the location of the wedding (a beach scene, a wooded lake, a historic building or a quaint church)

• an item that represents your lifestyle or your hobbies, like a fire engine, hockey sticks, a bicycle built for two or a Scrabble game

• flowers, leaves, snowflakes or other items that represent the season of your wedding

• even your pet! I recently saw a photo invitation printed with a shot of the couple's dog holding a sign in its mouth that read, "She said Yes!" So cute, and so personal!

When it comes to photo invitations, let your imagination run wild and choose the photo that will add a picture-perfect finishing touch to the introduction to your wedding!

Wedding Tip: Order 25 extra invites & envelopes

Imagine this…

…You've had your guest list finalized for months.

…You order just enough invitations to cover everybody.

Aunt Margaret

…You're done addressing, you've used every last invitation and it hits you — you totally forgot to add your co workers to the list! And what about Aunt Margaret's five grown children — they'll each need an invitation, too!

How could you have avoided this nightmare? Easy! Just order 25 extra invitations with your original invitation order.

It will cost much less to add 25 additional invitations to your original invitation order (as low as $10.20 for an additional 25) than to place a second, new order for 25 invitations (up to $392.95 per 25).

Save money, save time and most importantly, save your sanity! And you'll also have a few extra invitations to save for keepsakes.

Happy Planning!

If you were a pocket invitation...which 1 would you be?

F0249lr[1]

Here's a sneak peek at a few of our new pocket wedding invitations coming your way!  Tell me which one is your favorite!

Would you choose #1 (on the left) because it creates an "illusion"?  The filigree design printed on a thick black wrap gives you the illusion of beautiful lace.  My favorite part is the white band! The perfect finishing touch! F12836PNKlr[1]

Or would you choose #2 (on the right) because of the luxurious silver outside and sweet color and sheer loveliness inside?!  The cutout embossed frame on #2 is "to die for"!  Choose a super cute monogram or your names and wedding date to show thru!  This pocket actually comes with pink, yellow or lilac insert cards!  Mix it up and use some fun ink colors!  Let your wedding guests know that your "big day" will be a good time had by all!

F12699lr[1]On second thought, would you choose #3 (on the left) instead?  This rich, copper shimmer wrap will set an elegant, sophisticated tone for your wedding.  I absolutely adore the personalized card on the outside!  Dress it up with a monogram, design, your names or wedding date!F12976lr[1]

Last, but certainly not least, would you choose #4 (on the right)?  This "breezy" blue filigree pocket has a shimmer to it!  It's fresh and pretty.  I love the "tea length" size and the blue satin ribbon finishes it off nicely!  What do ya say girlz?  Something Blue for the big day??!

Let me know what you think!

Have a fabulous weekend!

Beach Wedding Tip of the Week

Beach couple Bride and Groom

Weddings by the beach are great — the sun, the sand, the surf all make up a romantic atmosphere for your breezy wedding style.

And, of course, you'll want your guests to enjoy themselves to the fullest! That means giving them all the information you can on your wedding invitations and enclosure cards so they know what to expect AND know how to dress for the occasion.

Here are my tips:

• Most guests will take clues from your invitation and the location of your celebration and won't wear stiletto heels or tuxedos to a wedding on the beach. So make sure you word your invitations to include "beach wedding" or "wedding at the shore" or other descriptive phrases so guests know how to dress.

• If you would like to be sure everyone understands that your wedding is casual, you can include an extra line on your invitations saying "beach attire welcome." Or, you can include a printed response card telling guests that "beach attire is welcome" — and to "bring your flip-flops, sun block and shades" or other fun wording.

• At the wedding, fill pails with tubes of sun block, flip-flops, bottles of chilled water and umbrellas for guests' comfort.
