Elegant Wedding Inspiration

What makes a wedding elegant?  When surveying many of you bride to be's - most of you say you will be having an elegant wedding.  You might be having a Western Themed wedding or a Destination wedding...but it will still be elegant!  There's many ways to tie in elegance to any event. 

1. Carefully consider the wedding party attire & of course your own!  The attire will be a main event in setting the tone for your wedding pictures!  Think solid colors for your wedding party...perhaps an elegant hair updo...and the subtle simplicity of a remarkable necklace or bracelet.  A shawl or wrap will add that next level of elegance to the bridal attire - and will be sensible in those cold weather months.

2. Simplicity is key.  When in doubt - scale back.  A beautiful wedding favor box will look quite remarkable with a simple personalized ribbon accent matching your wedding colors.  The favor will double as a gift and reception decor!  Or choose the latest fabulous trend - the elegant candy buffet!

3. Remember the details. Stylish accents & embellishments. A beautiful reception hall with decor so beautiful - you don't need to add decor! Shimmer menu cards, tea light candles, music planned for the night - be sure to review the song list & approve before the "Chicken Dance" gets started!

Black and White Wedding Themed Weddings....What an elegant wedding theme!  As a child, I remember dancing the night away at weddings.  I loved dressing up, getting my hair curled and sneaking some lipgloss from mom's purse!  There was one wedding that will always stick out in my mind though.  It was my best friends sister getting married.  She had her bridesmaids all dressed in black floor length dresses. They were all holding white roses. The groomsmen were dressed entirely in black as well - which made the Bride & Groom stand out beautifully!  The wedding was held in an old fashioned ballroom with candles at every table enhancing the romantic setting.  This was one wedding I sat back at - as a child - and took it all in.  It was a lasting memory & I'm sure yours will be too!
